Saint Michael Academy (SMA) officially opened School Year 2026–2027 on June 15, 2026, welcoming 1,002 enrollees through a morning assembly and opening program attended by students, teachers, and school personnel.

The day began with a morning assembly featuring an opening prayer, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, the recitation of the SMA Vision and Mission, the singing of the SMA Hymn, and the faithful praying of the Holy Rosary.

Following the assembly, the opening program commenced with an energy check and a parade of all Grade 7 to Grade 12 sections together with their respective advisers into the school quadrangle, followed by the introduction of school personnel led by Research Coordinator Mr. Ross Ernest P. Sacristan, LPT.

Maintaining the enthusiasm of the gathering, the teachers presented a special dance performance before the delivery of the welcoming remarks by Sr. Pinlyn B. Dahili, OP, who reminded students of the importance of discipline and adherence to school policies.

To conclude the program, tote bags containing rosaries and school souvenirs were distributed to all students before they proceeded to their respective classrooms.

The opening of the new academic year marked a fresh chapter for the SMA community as students, teachers, and staff gathered once again, ready to face new challenges, opportunities, and meaningful experiences in learning.
