Saint Michael Academy (SMA) marked the holiday season with the successful return of its 8th Christmas Special, held at the school grounds at 6:30 P.M. after a year-long hiatus. The event gathered the Michaelian community in a vibrant celebration of music, Filipino culture, and Christian faith.

Presented in Matinee and Gala showings, the program featured standout performances by the SMA Performing Arts Organization (SMAPAO). Across five themed segments, performers delivered compelling interpretations of Christmas stories highlighting unity, hope, and joy.

The evening opened with a high-energy Production Segment, followed by a heartfelt Contemporary Segment emphasizing goodwill and togetherness. The Fusion Segment blended traditional and modern Filipino performances, capped by a vocal medley from Fr. Milbert Olchondra featuring “Bibingka” and “Tuloy na Tuloy Pa Rin ang Pasko.”

The Hip-hop Segment showcased Filipino resilience and creativity, leading to a moving Nativity enactment that reaffirmed the true meaning of Christmas.

In her closing remarks, Sr. Pinlyn B. Dahili, OP, commended the organizers and performers for strengthening Michaelian unity through the arts. The Gala concluded at 8:10 P.M. with encore performances of “Thank You for the Music” and “Ang Pasko ay Sumapit,” while the Matinee extended the celebration until 10:25 P.M.
