June 2, 2026 — The second day of SMA’s In-Service Training (INSET) 2026 focused on strengthening the implementation of the school’s Professional Learning Community (PLC) through strategic planning and collaborative engagement.

The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Ma. Teresa Bayle of Phoenix Publishing, who guided faculty members in developing action plans aimed at enhancing and sustaining PLC practices within the school. Through a series of workshops and collaborative activities, teachers identified key areas for improvement and formulated strategies to promote continuous professional growth, teamwork, and effective instructional practices.

A highlight of the day’s program was the presentation of action plans prepared by the different faculty groups. Each group shared its proposed initiatives, objectives, and implementation strategies designed to further strengthen the school’s PLC framework. The presentations provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, receive feedback, and learn from one another’s perspectives and experiences.

The second day of the training fostered a spirit of collaboration and collective responsibility among educators, reinforcing SMA’s commitment to building a strong professional learning culture that supports both teacher development and student success.
